The music of Giuseppe Tamborrino combines the spectral possibilities obtained from recycled objects with combinatorial calculus, creating a personal electro-acoustic field, among the experiences with his father Giovanni Tamborrino (Composer and percussionist) and the musical programming studies.
Conservatorio of Matera Milano and Bari where he was able to deepen various schools of thought and research carried out from 2005 to 2019; studies that have created the right balance between the ancient and the modern, between the science of sound and Greek mythology, between the electronic symphonic poem and the sound narration of existing or abstract events.
His works combine jazz scales, Greek modes and personalized scales with partially tonal, tonal and non-tonal timbres, recorded in turn with instrumental acoustic effects borrowed from the contemporary semiographic, legacy of the leading Italian composers such as Luciano Berio whom Giuseppe met as a child.
Each work has a different form, supported by its self-built programs for computer / music and sound assistance, which in addition to speeding up the creative process of managing sound events, manages to elaborate new timbres creating a natural combination between timbro and gestures from acoustic sound to the electronic sounds.
